“I can't say enough about how much I adore the Caetani Centre. I'm in love with the gorgeous building and grounds, the fascinating story of the Caetani family and Sveva's legacy, her incredible artwork and, of course, the amazing staff and the other artists. As a mother that works from home I'm always so grateful for the opportunity to immerse myself in painting and the Caetani Centre has been such a vital and supportive part of the series that I am working on. “
Artist Bio
Born in Prince George, Lindsay Kay now resides and works in Wells, BC, the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Dakelh (Carrier) and Secwépemc (Shuswap) Peoples. Lindsay studied at the Victoria College of Art in 2005/06 where she learned to paint under Victor Arcega. While her past works have been inspired by the spirituality inherent in nature, Lindsay's current works are a series of paintings of her dreams. The Dreams Series are more surrealistic in nature while still retaining the inspiration from the natural world.
