Join the Caetani Centre for the next First Friday Art Trail on April 4.

The Caetani Centre Gallery will be open to visitors who will be able to experience the soft opening for our new exhibition: Creating Space - Artists of Caetani from noon to 4 p.m.

The exhibition is named after the Centre’s youth artist program, Creating Space, and features artwork created during a series of workshops and open studio sessions held at the Caetani Centre over the winter months. This includes pieces from the youth participants and workshop facilitators.

A wide variety of works –textile, sculpture, mixed media, and painting– will be represented.

Creating Space also includes a variety of works by our Caetani studio artists Cuyler Page, Salinger Snarf, Gabrielle Strong and Cheryl Webster, some of whom will have their studios open, as well as selected paintings by our benefactor Sveva Caetani from her Recapitulation Series.

In addition, the Caetani Centre museum and gift shop will be open from 11 am to 4 pm.

The First Friday Art Trail is a free event that takes place on the first Friday of every month. Art enthusiasts and visitors can explore neighbourhoods in the Greater Vernon area, meet the artists, and learn about their work while enjoying time out with friends.

By opening our studios, we invite our neighbours to participate in a vibrant celebration of art, culture, and connection.
