Who is this for?Not only writers, but writers groups wishing to publish anthologies, professionals wanting to add to their expert ‘image’ with a book showing off their expertise, school teachers wishing to publish students work, photographers etc.
Learning OutcomesIn this workshop we’ll cover why authors are trading traditional publishing for Print On Demand and other avenues. You’ll learn about all the components needed to create a print book including the purchasing of ISBNs, how to find an editor, create a book cover, create your print on demand files via Pressbooks and start to demystify the independent author process. Whether you need physical copies for speaking gigs, school visits or for the excitement of seeing your work in print, this workshop will take you through the steps you need to cheaply produce print copies of your work.
