Viva d’Arte! is Caetani Centre’s major fundraising event of the year, full of art, entertainment, and history. It is surely not to be missed! There will be two events happening simultaneously, as the dynamic artistic experience spills out into the Vernon community.
Art Market (9-1)
The Caetani Centre is the launching point, in which you can interact with member artists as they show and sell their work during the art markets. Enjoy an Italian Soda or Frozen Cappucino as you take in spectacular live-action competitive painting, art demos, or music. Learn about the rich Caetani history from resident actress, Christine Pilgrim through her guided tours. Have fun and strike a pose for our, $20 Professional Portrait fundraiser, by Baby Bliss Photography.
Open Studio Art Trail (9-4)
While the Centre's four participating studios close to the public after 1pm, Caetani member artists are inviting the public into their home studios until 4pm. Enjoy travelling from one location to the next, taking in Art Demonstrations, and speaking with the artists themselves. Various studios around Vernon are taking part along with the Caetani Centre studios and Metal Dream Design. July 20, August 17, and Sept 21 from 9am - 1pm.Cost: $20 for a Professional, Retouched, digital photo file.On a drop in basis, the photograph will be taken in a designated area of the gardens while the art market is happening. Bring the kids, or pose with friends! Have fun with the props and make a memory that is sure to be cherished for years!Once the photo is taken, after the market you will be directed to an online gallery to choose the shot that you would like to have retouched. Once complete, you will receive a digital file of your image to print at your leisure and in the format that you desire.
