Join us for Belonging: A Reflection on Creative Resistance and Resilience
In our community, oppression, discrimination, and racism persist, motivating local creators to use art as a way to understand and express their personal experiences.
The Caetani Cultural Centre is a proud supporter of the Vernon and District Immigrant & Community Services Society (VDICSS) and the Federal Government's Community Support Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism (CSMARI) program.
This past year, the Caetani Cultural Centre Society partnered with the VDICSS to host CSMARI-funded workshops with local writers and visual artists that speak to underserved communities.
We collectively welcome you to join us for a special multimedia event that celebrates the power of community creativity, May 16 at the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre.
From captivating performances to immersive installations, the evening will showcase remarkable works crafted by local creators.
Doors open at 6 pm and guests are invited to experience the exhibits at their leisure throughout the evening. Admission is free and includes entry to a raffle with art, products, and experiences from local businesses. Snacks and refreshments will be available.

Please note: The Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre is wheelchair accessible.
