On Oct. 25 & 26 join our spiritualists as they channel the Caetani family for a Victorian-era event in our 130-year-old mansion!
Conjure the Spirits - A Victorian Halloween will take you back to a time when lavish Halloween parties included socializing and the occasional commune with the beyond. Join us as we re-enact some entertaining and mysterious rituals.
This special VIP event (19-plus) includes a theatrical tour through the house with your hosts, a complimentary reception with specialty spirits and treats, and a reenactment of a Victorian-era seance where members of the Caetani family, and a few other spirits, just may be conjured.
Dress up in your finest Victorian-era attire and come prepared for some fun and perhaps supernatural surprises!
Limited tickets for our adult-only event are available each evening.
Trick or Treat at the Caetani House on Halloween
FOR ALL AGES
Join us on Halloween, Thursday, Oct. 31 from 5 to 8 pm, as we open our doors to trick-or-treaters of all ages.
Relive the time of Vernon’s infamous Halloween house when the gates opened and trick-or-treaters would line up around the block for the best treats in town.
Halloween was one of Sveva’s favourite times of the year. She and the family companion Miss Jüül would greet neighbourhood kids lined up outside their door and hand out imported European treats and sometimes giant chocolate bars if you were lucky. Treats would often come encased in beautifully decorated loot bags designed by Sveva herself.
Join us at the Caetani Centre (side door at the main office entrance) on Halloween night as we offer treats, and some tricks, to all visitors. A donation will allow some of you to come inside the house - if you dare!
