INTRODUCING …

THE BOOM BOOMS:

We are a band of brothers with a unique sound and one-of-a-kind live show. Our music draws on folk, reggae, rock, latin, highlife, soul, funk and pop. Upbeat, uplifting, with a lot of heart and good vibes. This is not music for people who like to be serious when they go to a show. This is for people who want to go out and have a good time. We have been together since 2008 and over that time have played countless shows for thousands of people, released 4 albums. Won some awards. Had a video on tv. Had songs on the radio. Hosted beloved block parties. Raised money for charity. Hosted a festival. Made a documentary in Brazil centered around the struggle of the Kayapo people to protect their land in the Amazon. Busked around Europe. Toured extensively across Latin-America in an old psychedelically-painted RV. It's been a great ride and we're just getting started.

COD GONE WILD:

This Celtic inspired band is focused on giving traditional music a modern edge. They blend the varied talents of musicians whose classical, folk, rock and jazz backgrounds fuse together to create a dynamic and unique sound that instantly connects and resonates with audiences. Through their uplifting energy, tight vocal harmonies and remarkable stage presence, they weave together a tapestry of tales that evoke a nostalgic experience of days gone by. The band has been based out of BC's Okanagan Valley since 2009, after lead singer/multi-instrumentalist Andrew Mercer, transplanted from Newfoundland. With him he brought his passion for Newfoundland, their rich culture and most importantly, the music.

Joining Mercer are musicians Shamma Sabir (fiddle), Shamma has contributed bluesy vocals and haunting fiddle sounds to collaborations far and wide. A passionate ambassador of Canadian fiddle music, Shamma has used her background in Clinical Psychology to craft her recently released second book in the Once Upon a String fiddle series, perfect for beginning fiddle and violin learners of all ages. Sean Bray (electric guitar), a well-respected guitarist that studied at the Manhattan School of Music. CBC Radio named Bray as one of Canada’s top 50 guitarists of all time. Dan Fogarty (Bass), a highly sought after bass player for both performance and studio work, Dan also performs with a Tragically Hip tribute act called the Hip Replacements. Rounding out this talented group of musicians is David Mihal (Drums) a studio drummer for artists all over the world who has toured with the likes of Rita Chiarelli, Shawne Jackson (Domenic Troiano), Oliver Jones and Refugee forerunner Michael Fury.

THE DEVON COYOTE TRIO:

In a plastic and digital world it can be hard to find genuine, good music that speaks to a real audience. Devon Coyote’s timeless fusion of Roots, Rock and Blues does just that. Their shared passion for creating great music and a fierce determination to be heard, led the boys to humble success in the Canadian Indie music scene.   After a 4 year hiatus, Devon Coyote has reunited his favorite power-trio for a handful of special shows in 2024.

Renowned for her captivating melodies that blend poignant lyrics with catchy hooks, compelling listeners to tap their feet even to the most melancholic tunes. Influenced by Norah Jones, The Beatles and Bahamas, Kailee has developed a smooth and soulful folky/pop sound that is uniquely her own. This year Kailee has showcased her raw talent and magnetic stage presence at the iconic Dream Cafe in Penticton, and Kelowna’s favorite winter music festival, Fireside. MICAELA BRAY:

Micaela Bray: Michaela Bray is a Kelowna-based singer songwriter. She picked up the guitar at age 8, and started writing songs when she realized her diary entries could double as songs, and the time spent being sad and angsty in her childhood bedrooms could probably be used more productively. With a musical upbringing and a background in writing, she weaves folk, country, and alternative music together with pithy metaphors and plays on words. Through her sweet melodies and melancholy, introspective lyrics, she’ll make you feel like working through Big Feelings, too (childhood bedroom not required). You can listen to her EP ‘Half-Drawn Map’ on all streaming platforms.
