Caetani House Closes for Accessibility Renovation

The Caetani Centre is closing on December 22 for the Holidays! 

Following the break, the house and museum will remain closed until the spring as we undergo a major renovation to make our entranceway, gift shop, office, washroom, and museum accessible to visitors of all ages and mobilities, as well as mobility devices such as strollers, walkers, and wheelchairs. 

Made possible by funding through Heritage Canada's Canadian Cultural Spaces Funds, as well as private donations and sponsors, the entrance, reception, and museum spaces will undergo revitalization.

The accessibility renovation begins in January and is expected to finish in late February or early March.

We look forward to announcing our Grand & Accessible Re-Opening in Spring 2024.

During this time, the artist studios will still be open to working artists and the Sveva Caetani Gallery will be open to public programming and exhibits through the winter months.
